Join us as we enter the season of Lent with an Ash Wednesday service on February 26 at 7 PM. In this traditional service, we will offer the mark of ashes on the forehead, signifying our own mortality and our need for God. This ritual marks the start of the season of Lent, a time of spiritual preparation for Easter.
During the Sundays in Lent, we will hear about different pathways to God and suggest ways to practice spirituality. Click here for a list of pathways and practices. Click here for video inspiration from people walking these pathways.
Sunday, April 5 is Palm Sunday. We will celebrate the story of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem with palm branches and special music during our regular 9 and 11:15 AM services. In between services, children will be invited to participate in an egg hunt.
Wednesday, April 5 is our monthly dinner church. We will learn about Holy Week and experience a pilgrimage without ever leaving town.
Friday, April 10 is Good Friday. We will have a special service at 7 pm during which we will darken the sanctuary and read Scripture passages that help s answer the question, “Why is Good Friday Good?”
On Easter Sunday, April 12, join us for joyous services in the Family Life Center at 9 or 11:15 am.
